Odiáxere is a small rural area and the Eastmost parish in the Municipality of Lagos bordering with Alvor, which belongs to Portimão. Home to a few iconic architectural heritages, like a restored windmill dated from the 19th century, its main church with traces of Moorish origins and a “Roman” bridge.

Despite being a very secluded and rural location, Odiáxere is home to some of the popular events in Lagos, like the traditional Monthly market near the iconic windmill at Praça do Moinho; and the return of the catlle fair, one of the biggest of its kind in Portugal.
